The rooftop restaurant serves vegetarian Indian and Continental cuisine with views of Jaisalmer Fort. Specialties include Ker Sangris (desert vegetable), Dal-Bati-Churma, and freshly baked chapatis. Cooking classes are available upon request, teaching chapati preparation, spice blending, and Masala Chai. The restaurant uses filtered water for all cooking and adjusts spice levels to guest preferences. Open daily from 7:00 to 23:30.
Desert Safari Experiences
The hotel organizes customized desert safaris including camel treks, overnight camps, and village visits. Options range from basic desert camping to luxury accommodations at their Barna Desert Resort with mud cottages, Swiss tents, and en-suite bathrooms. Experiences include sunset viewing, bonfire cultural shows, and wildlife spotting of desert species like deer, foxes, and 350 bird species. Guides speak multiple languages and have extensive desert knowledge.
Historic Jaisalmer Location
Located 10 km from Jaisalmer Airport and within walking distance of Jaisalmer Fort. Nearby landmarks include Salim Singh Ki Haveli (1.5 km), Desert Cultural Centre (1 km), and Gadisar Lake (1.5 km). The hotel offers free pickup from Jaisalmer Railway Station, which has regular trains to Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Jodhpur. Road connections provide access to Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Mount Abu.

The hotel was a cozy and clean haven with surprisingly large and gorgeous rooms. The staff, without exception, were dedicated to making our stay exceptional. However, the dining options were somewhat limited.
I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Fifu! The rooms are cute and very clean, especially the rooftop terrace with a view of the Jaisalmer fortifications. The small bedroom had a very comfortable double bed. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, beautifully designed, and decorated. The service was exceptional as Fifu and his staff helped me book a camel safari and dinner, making my stay even more memorable. The location, though a bit dark outside at night, is just 15 minutes walking distance from the city center. The dining options, including Toast, Pancake, Omelette, Jam, Honey, Tea, Fruit Salad, and Coffee, were satisfying. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The rooms were the perfect host for our family of four, the most unique traditional room I've experienced in India yet with all the modern conveniences I could ask for. The hotel is neat, clean, colorful, and vibrant, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. However, the dining experience could use a bit more variety, but everything else was top-notch.
